Zhu Zhigang is a highly respected watercolor artist and educator, known for his expressive portraiture and loose, structural landscapes. He is the founder and a Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, Tianjin University of Finance, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a Vice Chairman of the Tianjin Fine Arts Watercolor Professional Committee, and more.

His work moves beyond surface likeness to reveal inner structure, emotional depth, and spiritual presence. Through bold simplification and thoughtful analysis of master works, he guides artists to paint with clarity, strength, and authentic expression.
