Claire Forbes is an established artist from New Zealand. She has explored Watercolour for over 20 years, moving from a background in pottery and sculpture, and after two year's study of classical oil painting at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology under Catherine Hodson.
Claire Forbes has painted extensively outdoors, as well as in the studio, and her work has been represented in solo and group exhibitions throughout New Zealand. During her career Claire has received multiple awards, and has been invited to serve in exhibitions as guest artist, and judge. In the last decade she has become a sought-after teacher of the watercolour medium.
