In 2015, Andy co-founded Urban Sketching Beijing, a community dedicated to capturing the city’s rhythm through on-site sketching. Every week, he leads groups of enthusiasts to paint Beijing’s streets, alleys, and landmarks, preserving the city’s beauty in spontaneous lines and washes. His works are known for their dynamic composition and expressive brushwork, reflecting both precision and freedom. As a curator and educator at the Senior University, Andy continues to inspire others to discover the joy of sketching and the poetry of everyday life through watercolor.
